Description
Wanted to draw some Scarlet, an OC that lost purpose but I kept the design for the heck of it.
Did a little updating, as you can see from the thumbnail below. Didn't like the gloves, so I got rid
of them, and couldn't figure out what to draw for footwear... so she's stuck with socks for now.
If you look at the original black and white design, she wasn't wearing a V-shirt, so I kinda went
back to the roots, and made the fishnet look a little better. That's all for now.
BY THE WAY. Art will be slower than before, due to this being my last undergrad year at my uni,
so getting ready for gradschool and all that annoying stuff = =. I had been working on a few things
for the last week, but nothing post worthy, which may explain my lack of uploads. Anyhow, enjoy~

Overall Vision Originality Technique ImpactA critique it is.
Personally I liked the piece. I felt it was a step up from your usual submission. What it definitely has going for it is the more in dept look to it with the shading. This is helped further by the pattern on the scarf and bra. It makes you want to look at it more than you would've. Much more detail than usual, it works for the piece.
A way to drive the drawing further would be to pursue more dynamic poses and push your shading and form even further. It's as original as an OC can be. Impact I would say took the biggest hit, simply because it's just a girl standing there not doing much with a white background. I think this could be fixed with a dynamic pose and some background action. It would make the piece memorable.
